This day after Christmas edition of Sounds of the Caribbean kicks off with Christmas songs from King Kong and Luciano and continues on with roots classics from Edi Fitzroy, Mikey Dread, Exuma, The Jewels, and Carlton Livingston. You will also hear music in combination style from Monty Alexander and Ernest Reanglin, Luciano with Cocoa Tea, Dennis Brown with Gregory Isaacs, Cornel Campbell and Lee Van Cliff, and David Isaacs with Jah Thomas. This weeks show also includes an oldies session which includes artists like John Holt, Slim Smith, Carlton and the Shoes, Phyllis Dillon, Freddie McKay, The Bassies, and The Paragons. Tunes from Peter Tosh, Bob Marley & The Wailers, The Mystic Revealers, Duane Stephenson, Richie Spice, Beres Hammond, and Everton Blender round out the highlights from this special holiday edition.
